| | Joel Dunn graduated from the University of Utah in 1952 with a degree in journalism. He became publisher of the Tooele Transcript and the Tooele Bulletin in 1964 upon the death of his father Alex Dunn. In 1994 Joel Dunn retired from the newspaper and the Board of Directors elected his son Scott Dunn to succeed him as Publisher. |

Clayton is in charge of sales and marketing for the newspaper and the commercial printing division of Transcript Bulletin Publishing. He and his wife Laramie are the parents of 4 girls and 1 boy. |

He grew up in Tooele County and graduated from Grantsville High School. He covers business, county government, land use issues, and science. |
