1926 - 2008

Our sweet mother passed away on May 9, 2008, after patiently suffering a long disabling illness. She was born January 5, 1926 to Richard Simmons Rawle and May Belle Millet. She graduated from Morgan High School and attended BYU.

Carol married Eldean 'B' Weight in the Salt Lake Temple November 15, 1948. She was very musically talented and shared her talents in many ways throughout her life. She enjoyed the violin, piano, organ, and singing. She served in many callings in the LDS Church. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family. She was devoted to her husband and children. Her life was always one of example, a peacemaker and selfless service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, a son and her husband. She is survived by two married daughters and spouses, Diane and Jim Pinkston, Kerri Jo and Brent Passey, her son, Dennis and his wife, Annette Weight; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10 a.m., in the Stone Creek Ward, 1475 N. 300 West, Bountiful. Family and Friends may visit from 9:00-9:45 a.m., prior to the services and Wednesday evening from 6:30-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Springville, around 2:30 p.m.

Special thanks to Legacy Hospice for their love and tender care of our mother for this past year.
