Name: Deborah Winn
From: Cedar City
To: Stansbury Park
Deborah Winn is a country girl at heart, so when she moved to Tooele County from Cedar City, she felt right at home.
Deborah, 27, her husband, Alex, 30, and children, Lexy, 6, Karlie, 5, Kaden, 2 and Josie, 4 months, moved to Stansbury Park three years ago when Alex got a job in Salt Lake.
She is originally from Price, but moved ten times between Cedar City and Price in a five-year time period.
"We just kind of bounced back and forth a lot," she said.
While her husband was doing job training in Georgia for six months, Deborah found a house in Stansbury Park all by herself, while being pregnant and taking care of her children.
"It was pretty crazy," she said.
Deborah said she really likes how inviting and welcoming Stansbury Park is.
"I really like the people and I like how it's small and away from the city."
She said it's a great place to raise a family.
"One thing I do love about Stansbury Park is how many things they have for the kids," she said, adding that her children are involved in soccer and dance.
Although she is very happy with Stansbury Park, she does miss the mountains in Cedar City and wishes there were more places to fish in the area.
"My husband and I hunt and fish and camp and it's nice how convenient it was in Cedar City," she said.
But overall, Deborah said she is content with Stansbury Park.
