For the past two seasons Grantsville, Logan and Ogden have been battling for supremacy in Region 11.
The Cowboys already have defeated Ogden this year and are primed to face Logan today at home in a tough region match.
"Our team is on a roll right now and we've beaten some very good teams," said coach Pat Ciervo.
Grantsville edged Judge 3-2 last week and the Bulldogs are considered to be among the top four teams in the state, according to Ciervo.
The coach predicts that Park City, Judge, Logan and Grantsville will battle it out at the state tournament. "Waterford is also good with an outstanding number one player."
Grantsville will play in the region tournament May 7-8 in Ogden and the state tournament is scheduled for May 16-17 at BYU.
"Right now my focus in on our dual match with Logan," the coach said.
"The trademark of this team this year is that if everybody comes to play, we can beat anybody. This has been an outstanding team. When our players are mentally prepared they are very good."
Grantsville's second doubles team of Trevor Lujan and Jared Knight are unbeaten in region matchs and first singles player Logan Paulich is one of the top players in 3A.
Grantsville has faced a tough schedule against powerful teams such as Hillcrest, Bingham, Bountiful, Box Elder, Spanish Fork and Judge.
On Tuesday, the competition was not as fierce and Grantsville defeated Ben Lomond 4-1.
Paulich defeated Nate Stringham 6-0, 6-0; Jared Nordgran downed Philip Bradford 6-1, 6-0 at second singles; and George Parkinson breezed past Trent McLelland 6-0, 6-1.
Casey Williams and Brett Peterson suffered the only loss at first doubles while Lujan and Knight had little trouble winning at second doubles 6-0, 6-2.
Ben Tripp, Dallin Gomez and Kyler Rupp all won singles matches in junior varsity play. Dallin Parks and Austin Rowley won at first doubles with Dalan Leonelli and Aaron Vera victorious at second doubles.
Devin Anderson, Dallin Hardy, Ryan Jensen, Jordan Orgill and Matt Scott won exhibition matches.
