Stay-courteous-on-roads

I feel blessed to live in a rural community. But the quiet views and tranquil peace end when I get in my car. We are rushed enough in life without someone touching my rear bumper as I drive to my destination. Too many people think that the one-ton automobile they’re driving makes their intentions untouchable. I wish the same inconsiderate folks would act the same way to my face. I don’t have people right up next to me while I’m at line in the store. Why should people act differently behind the wheel? If you’re late, get up earlier. If you’re stressed, the one minute you save by speeding won’t calm you. There is enough of a shortage these days of common courtesy. Let’s please not take it to the road as well. Those heavy rigs we drive these days can cause more damage than an unopened door or a forgotten thank you.
